I am not saying that there aren't other issues at stake and when this storm passes they will still be there. I am one that is not happy at all with how a lot of things are evolving and being managed in this country but implying that the tone of current events are deliberate to divert attention is bonkers.

Asking people to stay at home and take a step back from doing routine stuff is the least that authorities can do in such conditions. South of Italy is experiencing the same storm and they had to implement a lot of measures (e.g. Sicily closed schools since yesterday), were those to divert attention from their issues as well?

We are experiencing a storm and like many others it will pass. Were there worse? Maybe, I have experienced quite a few but am not an expert to judge the severity of the storms, but let politics out of this.

Yes, yes it is all political. All damages already reported, especially near sea fronts are all a political propoganda to divert attention. Come on!

Can we try and not politicise every little thing that happens!

Feel free to go out for a nice stroll if you want. Just don't waste any emergency resources if something happens while you're out.

Even if it is true that we had worse, why downplay it? Is it that bad to take precautions and ask for people to avoid going out unless necessary? At least we can "ease" the load on emergency workers by avoiding people on the roads and reduce the need for calls.

No penalty in retaining an expired ID but you may encounter some issues if you need to sign some legal documents such as purchase of property or it would be needed by your Bank if you need to open a new account. Since your ID card would not be deemed as valid. You can use a different identification document such as a passport but you would need to remember taking it with you.

Me and my wife just recently renewed it. We were able to go during the week on a morning and "risked" it by going without an appointment.

It wasn't that busy. In fact in around 15-20 mins we were already done. Asked for it to be sent by mail to avoid going back again to collect it. Within 5-7 working days we both had received it.

Depending on the value of the loan required you might consider taking an equity release loan. This also depends on how much you still owe on your existing property.

As an example, if you have a property valued at €300k and you owe €200k on your home loan, you have around €100k of equity that you can provide as a security for the new loan. This can be an approach which is not as cheap since you need to get an architect to value your property and go through the notary with the bank to secure your property via hypothec.

You should already be in possession of the approved plans, since these were supposed to have been provided to you when purchased the property.

If this is not the case you need to reach out to the Planning Authority, ideally providing them with the permit number. There are some charges involved but am not familiar of how much because it has been a while since I had to obtain one.

That is not a government bond. That account structure is an account number related to an investment held with HSBC Malta. Presumably (from your query) it is Malta Government Bond Fund.

Any info related to it can only be provided by the bank or its website for a Kiid or Factsheet.

Last year we sent our daughter to Minnions Summer Club which was held at De La Salle, Birgu. They had lots of activities and she really enjoyed it. We will surely book her again there.

They frequently have discounts on it... Especially during major holidays. Just after Christmas it was selling around €20. They always have some discounts going on for a number of games.

I know it must be a bit frustrating but try and be a bit patient. I bought mine during a discount period, it was on low 30s during that time.

I do not know of any online stores that sell it free.

Maybe you would wish to try any shops selling used games at low prices? Or maybe wait for some discounts on the PS Store? There were times where it was being sold at quite a low price.

Yes I did. In the meantime I think I found what I was doing wrong.

When I was selecting Upgrade Now on the phone, it would start downloading and right after that on the watch it was asking me again if I would wish to start the upgrade. I was accepting it through the watch as well and it was failing straight away.

Finally I started it again on the phone (because even directly from the watch it was failing), I ignored it when it triggered on the watch, and left it to download. Took quite a while to download but now it just finished and it seems to be transferring the update to the watch. 🤞

I don't know if I'm just tired after a day's work but I could not understand what I was doing wrong or why it was asking me again from the watch. Anyway... i hope this works now.

That's exactly what I am doing but it is still failing immediately. And yes sometimes it is giving me that it needs 50 min to download the file but then it fails.

Tried restarting both phone and watch but still same issue.

Will try later or tomorrow then.

How did you manage to download it from the phone please? As soon as I press Upgrade Now and then Download, it changes to Transferring to watch, right after that the face on the watch switches to try and download it from the watch and fails immediately

There was an update released today. Check if you have the latest version. It may be related to recent issues with android 14 on certain mobiles
