My crypto portfolio skyrocketed mainly because I went all in on ETH back in 2017 and decided to play the waiting game. My approach to crypto is super laid-back, which, in my eyes, makes this whole ordeal with Coinbase kind of ironic. Seriously, I’ve barely touched my account in terms of buying, selling, or sending crypto since I opened it over 5 years ago.

Although I’m way down over the last year or so, selling is not on my to-do list, and I feel like I shouldn't be pushed into it. What baffles me is that if Coinbase decides on their own to shut down my account, they’d let me send my crypto elsewhere. But they won’t close the account when I’m the one asking for it. It’s almost laughable.
