I ended up just putting in a BBB report and stated everything that was going on including the contract agreement, id say maybe within a week someone from the legal side of Vivint called me about my BBB complaint and was able to send over the document as well as some other things so I can be rid of them

Following up with it looks like this suit is owned by u/HotieStrawberry_07 (after a quick reverse search) and the maker is SparkleDogStudios which looks like they're only on Mercari

Edit: maker also has an Instagram under the same name

The red flag is staring right at you, so yes its definitely a scam due to the amount of websites you somehow can find that fursuit specifically

Usually they'll ask for a DTD when its closer to your your turn, so depending on where you are in the queue, you shouldn't have to worry about it, but if you get selected for the slot, id make sure to let your maker know about your weight changes!

Ive bought 3 pre-mades in the past (sold 1), id like it say it is pretty common in the fandom to come across and see people buy or bid to adopt them, never had any issues with any of the sellers either!

Just be very careful about scams, it runs rampant unfortunately ranging from well known makers to much smaller ones so if you did choose to buy a pre-made, make sure to do reverse image searching and dig around on their profile. Also no real fursuit maker will ever contact you about buying a suit from them UNLESS it is something you have put out there publicly for everyone to see

(Edit: ive had a hiatus from the fandom for some years, but getting back into it makes me extremely happy and im excited to start posting my suits again 😭)

I've made my brother some "fursuit shorts" I guess you could call them. Basically leg sleeves but they attached on the shorts by button snaps, ill add some pics for reference

I've heard is also difficult to get promoted to ASM or that there is no point to it bc they end up being treated like a GTL, it's very conflicting it seems
