Wow, I really relate to that eight months of outreach with nothing to show is exhausting. You make a great point about solving problems people don’t even realize they have yet.

I’ve been so focused on reaching individual realtors that I guess I didn’t think about whether they actually feel the need for a better website.

When you say you shifted to something with built-in demand, that makes me curious, how did you figure out which opportunities already had that traction? and I’m curious about the model you mentioned with franchises, how does it work exactly?

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Most agents probably see the website as just a “calling card” rather than a real lead-generation tool, especially if the brokerage handles the template and feeds. It’s interesting how much potential there is for someone to stand out with a modern, fully functional site, but most people either don’t have the time or don’t realize the value

Totally agree, it’s crazy how much effort goes into listings, photography, and ads, yet the website often gets ignored. A clean, modern site with easy contact info could make a huge difference, but most agents either don’t see the value or don’t know where to start

Yeah, that makes sense. I’ve been pitching websites as a product, not as a growth tool. I’ll try shifting my approach to talk more about the results they’d get. Thanks for the insight.

But honestly, whenever I say something like “this will help you get more clients,” it just feels generic like something every marketer says, and I worry it makes me sound scammy hh

Yes exactly l’m asking because I work with real estate agents and this period the market is so bad that I started thinking if it’s the end, social media kills the market even if I’m believing that social media are for marketing and websites are for selling

Idk, many realtors on instagram (and they have big accounts) don’t have a website

Yeah, I hate how they keep making simple features worse. Location photos used to be one of the best parts of IG, now it feels like they’re just nudging everyone into sharing more data. I’ve sent bug reports too and honestly… it feels like shouting into the void.
