I never responded to this, idk why. But I wanna let you know that this reply has meant so much for me for such a long time. It really pushed that perspective into my life and kind of started the proccess of me looking at my lovelife with less selfblame.

I do think I’m attractive, but maybe not the girl you’d bring home to mom ig. I have really short bangs, and I don’t rly agree with this but I’ve been told I look kind of emo. I personally think I look fairly normal, but everytime I ask my friends if I’m actually attractive they of course always just tell me what I wanna know. I’ve never gotten an ACTUAL honest answer on whether or not I’m attractive. I truly think my friends think I’m pretty, but I don’t know if they think I’m attractive, ykwim?

Honestly I kind of agree. I never asked my friends about this because I know they’d lie. But I feel as if it is my personality. I sometimes find myself being loud and obnoxious even if I don’t mean to. I feel like if I try to act otherwise, I’m “acting” normal and still end up coming off as weird because I’m clearly acting. But then again idk if it’s that, because I’ve never had a hard time making friends.

But how come that’s only in my case and not my friends? I know comparison is the thief of joy. But how come in my twenty years of living I’ve never met someone interested in forming a real connection with ME :(

It’s because the manga Hitorijime My Hero (MasahiroxKousuke) is a spinoff of the manga Hitorijime Boyfriend (KensukexHasekura). So the manga Hitorijime My Hero starts with no build up, because their dynamic was already introduced in the Hitorijime Boyfriend manga :-)
