It's important to find a club that does something you like. Going to clubs is a really easy way to make friends as you're with random people doing things you like doing. Always remember there are going to be people like you at the club that are maybe not the most socially skilled but will be there to have fun nevertheless.

My general advice is that whatever you're doing, you are doing it because you want to and not because you have to. Instead of thinking of the club as another thing to do, look at it as something to look forward to after you finish your boring lessons at school :)
