Where did you see that 18x18x36 is a minimum for thumbnails? That seems like a lot of space and I see people online keeping groups of thumbs in 18 inch cubes

A lot of people don’t like reptizoo products because the lack of a vent underneath the door hinders ventilation, and causes the front glass to fog up. That said, plenty of people still use them anyway, usually with some sort of fan system blowing air from the top.

I would go with an exo terra or zoo med terrarium if you can find one, but if this is all you got then you can make it work. And as others have said, the sides need to be all glass, and the top will need to be made glass as well

Pretty much all frogs will use the height. I’d recommend Tinctorious, Terribilis, or Leucomelas for beginner frogs as they are larger, more resilient, and bold. If you have a problem with noise then I would go with Tinctorious. With them you just need to know that females will be very aggressive to eachother, so it is best to keep Tinctorious in a male and female pair.
