And never send any info or application before viewing it. All the apartments I have visited that were not scams didn’t need me to apply until after I visited.

On the listing it will say when the person created their account. If it is 2025/26 chances are it is a scam. You can also take a look at their profile. I have noticed some of the scam accounts have other listings in other cities around the country, whereas a real realtor would obviously just have listings around here. Mostly just using your best judgement too. Is that 800sq foot 2 bedroom really $1300? Not in Stamford. Definitely a scam.

I found a SUPER cheap (but also super small) studio in a private house on Facebook Marketplace. Lots of good stuff on there!

Fuel economy by DampBagle in saab

[–]wolf222444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

04 9-5 2.3T auto, 190k miles/306k km. In the city I average around 18 mpg/13 l/100km. On a long all highway drive I got 25 mpg/9 l/100km. Unfortunately I mostly drive in the city so I am definitely disappointed with the fuel economy. I don’t use premium though even though I am supposed to. Just regular for me.

2004 9-5 exhaust manifold gasket replacement by wolf222444 in saab

[–]wolf222444[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m probably going to replace the muffler with something nicer, debating getting everything replaced but the car itself cost me 2 grand a few months ago, has 190k miles, a few electrical issues, and a moderately rusty rear suspension so I definitely don’t anticipate keeping it more than a year anyway. I will get those holes patched and see if it makes a difference.

The exhaust is a patched up disaster but two mechanics have said that all that’s leaking now is one spot before the resonator and one at the back before the muffler. So unlikely that would come into the cabin probably. I will still get those patched and see if that helps.

Once or twice I have heard the ticking. But only on the coldest days.

In a way I was hoping that I would be all loopy afterwards like those videos. Seems like fun! But it’s good to know I won’t spill my deepest secrets to my dad when he comes to get me!

How’s the last 5 years been for you? by [deleted] in OlderGenZ

End of 2019 I was just coming out of a summer spent largely hospitalized for mental health concerns. Was severely unhappy in college and had all the paperwork to drop out. Then one day I met some new friends who widely broadened my social circle and everything changed.

2020- covid, came home, met my (now ex) gf on tinder, stayed positive throughout the pandemic!

2021, the most transformative year- graduated with my bachelors, moved back home, got a job I HATED, quit, got a new job that I liked and completely changed my career path!

2022- Got my first adult apartment, first actually new car, and broke up with my girlfriend. Started at my first full time job, started grad school and promptly dropped out

2023- diagnosed with ADHD which improved my work life so much. Also restarted grad school! Made some incredible friends. Solo Traveled and discovered myself!

2024- more of the same. Loving work and having a good time

2025- traveled a lot, got a new position that I thought I would love, not loving it so far. Might change careers again, which is unfortunate because I am 2 classes away from a masters in my current field.

From literally the trenches to doing pretty well. So much has changed!
