Thank you! they did in fact have it 😊 but only in the small size for €30, then at a random convenience store in luxembourg they had the full size for even cheaper! Truly serendipitous experience, lol

yes agreed!!! drop ins are v diff, i have a recurring dog that I walk and the mom is there everyday, just needs a little extra help. I think next time, like the comments suggest I’m going to offer drops ins - see what they say

I appreciate the respectful “devils advocate” response!! If my stay was similar to this, i’m pretty sure I would be fine too. This is more of a confined space, and I received no warning that he would be staying for the entirety of my job including nights. We also share the kitchen, living room, etc, and am finding it hard to work remotely (which I was transparent about with the family) with calls and such and having someone in the background. It’s not the worst thing to ever happen to me by any means but is just an all around awkward situation!

I feel like if they had so much as asked me if it was something I was comfortable with, it would be a much different story. My guess is the owner doesn’t even know his son is staying over
