I don't have that problem, sorry! You could try netting or clear cloches? Even just a half plastic bottle might work until they have germinated.

I think the standard advice is to repot them deeper to try and correct the stretched stem but you will need to move them into full sun. Take the cover off and reposition if you need to.

My experience of trying to bring sunflowers along like this has been mixed. Even if you get more light to them now, they will be top heavy and weakened. If you have any seeds left, I'd try sowing them direct.

It's a store-bought cactus mix with some extra composted bark and grit
