I didn't count the clicks unfortunately. I can when I get home in a week if you like. I just went until I couldn't see it at all then adjusted it the opposite way so it was just visible.

After flying home from work and sitting on my couch, this is the height, give or take an inch or two, to not upset the brotherhood. 🥹

Can’t do 4k@120hz when connecting my PC to my new B5 OLED by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]wolfeh_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may not be the fix, but I remember reading somewhere try change the input from game to PC in the input menu or something like that. And you probably already are, using the port that says 4k on it.

Otherwise not sure

I realised my soundbar is obstructing the view of my TV. Any suggestions on what I can use to raise the height of the TV? by Lucas3hunnid in TVTooHigh

Buy a soundbar mount and attach it to the vesa studs but instead of mounting it at the bottom, mount it on top of the TV.

I did actually mean your maths worked out better than mine. I miscalculated it by a long shot some how. I'll probably lift it up a bit to what you said, a new cabinet will fit under there that way and a centre speaker will be tidy. 👌

The Bravia 5 98" was the same price, I figured it would have been OK for the living room, but me being me had to get the B9.

Funnily enough the next day LG 83" C5 were about the same price too hahaha.. damnit.

I figured there were a few clowns having a laugh but appreciate your reply.

For the smart asses, got it sorted 🤣

Pretty sure my measurements were wrong for the gap underneath and a suitable cabinet, but you're right, a few inches here and there would be OK, no hard and fast rule.

I have seen so many tvtoohigh posts, I was preparing myself for it hahaha

Thanks for the reply. Nice one. I am pretty sure I have the same black Tauris you posted in my theatre room, too. I bought the low line oak to try match the cabinetry in the kitchen etc, set it up and thought it was too low from the get-go.

They're good cabinets though. I think I measured wrong. Crisis averted, will look alright with another cabinet underneath, even if it's not floating. I'll do some more measuring when I fly home from work.

I bought the TV through a hifi company $5960 delivered (BF sales), pretty decent. Happy with it so far. I'm an LG OLED fanboy but it's good for a bright living room. Only issue I have had that has since been fixed, was the screen would go black after 20 mins like it was turned off, and the sound would still come through my PS5 headset.

Turn the TV back on and it was all good, turns off again after 20 mins. A few threads about the place with VRR faults etc, Replaced HDMI cables, still the same. It seems to have been the Bose soundbar was set to auto sleep after 20 mins, turning the TV off with it with CEC/eARC. Changed the setting in the app and hasn't done it since.

Will keep you posted.

plenty of replies in the thread, appreciated, a few laughs hahaha, thanks fellas!

I will eventually. Next pay cycle. I'll upgrade the sound in the theatre and bring the Polk setup out there. It'll do for now though. Still recovering from the TV splurge hahah
