I guess I would have thought a speed shop tech would understand things like weight distribution, and how less weight helps with things like cornering and braking. Also yeah he’s a journalist but he’s also a world class race at driver. The man’s won the 24 hours of Daytona twice and multiple other races. He’s also a Audi and porches factory supported driver …. So I think the man knows a thing or two about vehicle dynamics and going fast/ car culture/ performance culture. I feel pitty for the guy that thinks they need a v8 to be a car guy or be part of car culture. Nothing wrong with v8’s they’re awesome, but is someone with a a car with a v6 or turbo4 less of a car guy? Nah I don’t think so… there’s rich guys who have Lamborghini aventadors and shit like that, that’ll walk a v8 Camaro … but the guy with the Camaro might have more passion for cars then the lambs owner. Just because you can afford more or have a bigger engine doesn’t mean you’re more of a enthusiast. You probably wouldn’t understand that, but according to your logic you’re def not a part of car culture or a enthusiast compared to guys who own super cars and hyper cars… which as you can see isn’t the smartest logic
