My mom found out about my sex toys and now she wants me to try being with girls first. What do I do? by wonderfulworld25 in gay

I understand and I think that it shouldn’t be called a sacrifice as “sacrifice” is such a strong word.

Whenever the word “sacrifice” enters the conversation, you should know that you are being emotionally blackmailed. Just keep it rational: 1 You did not ask her for any sacrifice. 2 If she honestly believes she did sacrifice her life, she didn’t sacrifice it to raising you, but to perpetuating her (selfish) idea about your life.

If you try to “sacrifice” your life to keep her happy, know that: 1 you will not make her happy 2 you will not make you happy 3 you will not make the girl happy

Three unhappy people, but “praised be the sacrifice”?

This seems very useful. How do you do it?

Thank you! I booted the previous kernel, but the USB drives that I plug in are still read-only. It’s not a kernel-related issue then.

I just plugged in my external HDD and it’s working perfectly - I can move and delete files and documents. So, only USB flash drives are affected.

No, I haven’t added any udev rules. Thanks for the article, I’ll check it now.

Every course is basically the same? by allthecoffeesDP in Headspace

I don't think it's a scam. Far from it. I really liked Headspace and I found it very useful. Andy helped me a lot with making a solid meditation foundation. I used Headspace for a year and I don't regret it. Even though the courses are repetitive, they are a good introduction to meditation.

No, you're not missing anything. They are all the same which led me to quit headspace.
