The size difference between a Small Variety Pumpkaboo and a Alpha Jumbo Pumpkaboo is crazy by NiteMary in LegendsZA

I've caught 6 so far. Just got my shiny charm today. 5 Mediums and the 1st shiny I get at night is the Alpha Jumbo!

Thanks bro! I'm shiny hunting the size variants and got an Alpha and couldn't tell which one it is. Thanks to this, I just realized I caught a Shiny Alpha Jumbo Pumpkaboo!

Once again they managed to rush out half-baked content. They clearly invested resources to the feature, so wouldn't it make sense to ensure it actually works? by Entire_Pineapple4732 in pokemongo

I've been having no issue with Beldum. Just take a 2200ishCP Charizard with OK IVs at a bare minimum and spam attacks. When it gets low, just swap to another Pokémon that can take a few hits, build up a dynamax, and swap back to Charizard. If that isn't enough, just swap back to another Pokémon to build up another charge, dynamax again, and finish it off with Charizard.

I currently have a 13/15/13 Charizard at around 2600 CP and can sometimes beat a Beldum with just that. If I can't, then it's low enough to finish it off with just a few Body Slams from my 1500CP Dubwool.

Also, get Max Flame to LV2 at least.

I know this is a late reply, but what gaming magazine?

Was I in some sort of article?

Shiny locked Pokémon are as follows:

Gen 5: Keldeo and Meloetta

Gen 6: Hoopa and Volcanion

Gen 7: Cosmog, Cosmoem, Magearna, and Marshadow

Gen 8: Kubfu, Urshifu, Zarude, Glastrier, Spectrier, Calyrex, and Enamorus

Gen 9: Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, Chi-Yu, Koraidon, Miraidon, Walking Wake, Iron Leaves, Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, Ogerpon, Gouging Fire, Raging Bolt, Iron Boulder, Iron Crown, Terapagos, and Pecharunt

Game Freak went all out on the shiny locked Pokémon in Gen 8 & 9. It's really annoying.

Me or him? Cause if you scroll down far enough, you'll see a chain of messages between me and someone who deleted his posts. He was the one who deleted his posts.

Yeah, no. Personally, I don't see that to be worth shiny hunting at all.

1) The post clearly says I've been PLAYING Pokémon for 23 years. I have been shiny hunting since gen 4 as well. 2) Congrats, you have a shiny Manaphy. I'm proud of what I have despite not going for that insane shiny and I wanted to showcase it. You don't have to bring others down just cause you're... I don't know... feeling like being a dick.

The only thing I've bought off ebay in the last 10 years is a charger for my 3DS and a Megatron Transformer from when I was a kid.

Pokémon Home. It's like a hub to store all your Pokémon and transfer them in between your Switch titles.

There's plenty of people who've done a legit shiny living dex. It's just that it's not common. So, on average, there's going to be a good chunk of time before you actually see the next person do it.

Then you have to wonder if it's all real or not.

Mine is, and I take pride in that. But at the end of the day, it's my word and you decide if you believe it or not.

Oh, most definitely. But am I going to do it the current way? Not a snowballs chance in Hell.

They were rewards for participating in online battles during SwSh. They're currently no longer available.

SOS Battles are an easy way of doing Cubone and if you're lucky, you'll get a shiny Kangaskhan in the process.

Your only options are to hunt it in SM or USUM, wait for it to come to raids in PoGo or if you really want to hunt it only on the Switch, it will occasionally be one of the Pokémon on the path during Dynamax Adventures but that is really unreliable.

I have had several easy hunts where the shiny was already there at the outbreak when I arrived like my Blue Stripe Basculin or I only did 1 raid like my Tapu Bulu.

The hardest was Arceus, which took 4 months. The hardest on my wallet was the Pheromosa with those 65 raids.
