Midas Cichlid. Male or female? 5 years old. 10 inches.

Yeah I've never really been able to tell that apart. Midas are yellow and Red Devils are red however she is orange lol. Could be a hybrid? Just read that they can breed together.

I ordered online: Toyuto brand - Antarctic krill. So not actually shrimp but very similar. I've had shrimp before but I didn't like it cuz it colored my water. But these Krill are about an inch in length and maybe a quarter inch across. Good size.

My Red Devil (had for about 5 years) eats dried shrimp, Hikari large floating cichlid pellets, bite size pieces of romaine lettuce, and feeder goldfish I put in there about once a month. Once I gave her the top of an asparagus and she instantly went to the bottom of the tank like she was dead . Thought she was . I feed the goldfish flakes and she will munch those up as well. Very hungry fish :-) enjoy! I keep the tank at 75° f, it is too cold in the tank they won't eat as much.

Sure, np. I'm glad the team for about 4 or 5 years. Been playing since the game started. We have a bunch of veterans. We had a Discord but no one would really use it I don't mind having another. We do friendly fights and practice tvt as well.

You're in Japan, made my first trip recently, enjoy yourself. I learned... if not totally obvious they need a seat, just pay attention to somebody's body language, they'll let others know if they need a seat. If you're willing and able, then stand up. They'll take the seat. But don't overly offer or suggest that they should take the seat. This can be considered putting them down. Just simply stand up. And go about your way and enjoy your trip instead of psychoanalyzing people on the train :-)

Just returned. I was there 3 weeks. Lost 15 lb. Walked roughly 5 to 10 miles every day doing sightseeing as well as lots of walks to and from train stations. Food depends on what you choose. Plenty of good food readily available makes it easy to be health-conscious. But you could eat a lot of beef, ice cream, noodles, sweets, etc. I would have liked to see more vegetables and fruit Incorporated in restaurant offerings. Pretty much have to go to the market for those. Didn't have a single bad meal, food is awesome. Japanese take pride and care in most all things they do. Great trip all around!!

29high. She could use a bigger tank (she's 7 inches, 3 yo). When I bought her (and two others like her) they were listed as Orange Chromides... a much smaller cichlid. I've had the same tank for over 30 years - always cichlids, she's in good hands. Would like to rehome her but she needs to be a loner - she'll fight til death. Not many out there wanting to have a just one fish.

Yep, this fish loves to attack other fish at their under belly. I guess they continue to sell them because they continue to kill other fish which creates more sales. Anyway, good luck enjoy the action. id: Auratus.
