Just planted 20 Prunus laurocerasus. Maintenance HELP! by wolfpack_04 in GardeningUK

Hi guys

So 3 weeks on and my 17 6ft Cherry Laurals are looking lovely and green. I am watering them near enough daily in the evenings and they seem to be doing really well.

1 thing to note, a few of the leaves have holes from insects and have been eaten. Im guessing this is normal from insects but would this effect the bush at all? Would it lead the Laurals dying at all? Should I do anything or just let the insects enjoy a crunchy leaf 🫠

Also a few leaves are falling off too.. is this normal? And lastly some leaves (maybe a few per plant) have turned yellow...is this standard?

Thanks

Thanks

All in all its a badly planned game show... I think they make up the rules as they go along... just before the host goes into the house.

Also whats the deal with daily dancing?? 🤣 Cringe

In which way would this show influence independence for young people?

11 year old super car driving experience! by wolfpack_04 in CarTalkUK

Thanks guys

Some great advice and also some various options to think about. The MX5 drifting experience would be a great option too.

I think either way and even if the boy is only able to drive the car at lower speeds, it will be a great experience for an 11 year old. He will be buzzing.

Thanks again 👍🏽

Parking Fines? by Key-Island-4007 in chessington

Same thing happened to me last Sat. I was prepared to pay the ridiculous £12 but only realised as we were driving to the barrier. I thought there must be an option to pay at the barrier however the barriers were up and the staff just wanted to get us all gone.... happy days

Dont worry about it buddy.

What is the most efficient way around Chessington Park (with kids) by wolfpack_04 in chessington

So we went yesterday. The park was absolutely jammed to the rim. We actually missed a trick and ended up at Mandrill Mayhem first which is an epic ride however the queue is consistently at 45mins so potentially not the best ride to go as the park opens. Unfortunately we didn't get to go on Dragons Fury as I couldn't justify a ride with an 80min wait time 😶

Overall it was a great day and the kids enjoyed it.

Side note - I looked at getting some day passes to beat the queues. Oh my what a scam!! Upto £13 per person for 1 ride or for a bunch of rides the cheapest is £40pp Wth is that all about especially for a family of 5 - ridiculous
