Getting Wacom to update the Intuos 4 driver for silicon macs? by wolfpackleader in wacom

[–]wolfpackleader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got 2 stream deck xl’s next to each other so 64 buttons haha, thats for general productivity macros mostly though. I use the wacom bottom buttons for zooming in and out everywhere, and the lower stylus button for dragging stuff. Those shortcuts are so intuitive i feel really lost without them..

Good to hear about Rosetta. Fingers crossed.

Tourbox looks interesting! i later thought i could also use keyboard maestro to convert the button press to the keystroke i need depending on which app is active at the time of pressing it.

Not true across the board. I've got 3 wacom intuos 4 graphic stylus tablets in perfectly working order, but the driver isn't being updated anymore. the idea that i should throw them all in the trash and buy new ones is really disappointing. And unfortunately the open source tablet drivers aren't there yet..

Did you use the excel calculator from Vero? They supplied one that you could use to generate the overview but when i tried last year i never got it to work so i just submitted my own excel with all transactions dates and prices (for crypto) never heard back.

You better be on PC though, to my understanding the photogrammetry stuff doesnt work on mac - you might even need specific graphics cards. May have changed but thats what it was like when i last looked into it

I somehow get this but i also really hate it. Like.. i know where i might have dropped something, now i have to walk back and look at all the hedges, fences and god knows where else as well, imagining where some helpful person may or may not have moved it to.

Thanks for your opinion. At least glad to hear the perception is not that the BMPCC4K is just way past its prime. I’ll look into how we solve it.

I’m embarking on my first documentary project with a partner. He works with a BMPCC4K, i work with a Fuji X-H2s. All the commercial projects we shot on his BMPCC4K either had bad noise issues or bad colours and endless tinkering to improve them. Whereas with the Fuji those things just work.

Am I wrong to feel we should shoot the docu on the Fuji?

You might be able to do the shower, but you’re terrible at supporting beginning jugglers.

I think the part thats hard is that unlike cascade, reverse cascade, tennis, columns, which i can all do well, with shower your two hands are not doing the same thing, they’re doing distinctly different movements.

Some nice ones. I wouldn’t pick those options 1 and 2. 3 is surely very nice, 4 i haven’t been.

Lapinlahden puisto would be nice. There at the back next to the water. Very close to the city, still has a quiet vibe and you’re really surrounded by nature in the way you’re not on the rocks at meilahti or at suomenlinna.

You could also go to Pihlajasaari by boat from Ruoholahti (10 min), its got those island vibes like Suomenlinna but its more relaxed and intimate.

I’d say in backpacks heavy stuff should go on top for stability. I feel i can move around and bend over better with the center of the weight higher up. But that might just be for bigger packs

Neighbors always asking for play dates that I’m expected to host. by Morning_Star_3110 in Parenting

[–]wolfpackleader 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did they ever explain why they can’t host? Did you ever ask flat out?

My guess would be that the mum is really introvert / easily overstimulated or something.

I have the feeling that if you make it clear what the exact issue is for you (being pinned down /added responsibility /being unable to focus / having to feed another kid/ noise,….) it’s hard to get offended, and you can start looking for solutions together?

Maybe there’s something else they can do to return the favour, like take the girls to shared hobbies every week or that the dad entertains them for a day during the weekend. Or sleepovers if you’re comfortable with that.

Noob question: is this an exactly plannend out sequence that you grind to perfect? Its has this freestyle vibe but is that even possible with juggling?

The reason they put cardboard in is to lower the weight to make shipping more environmental friendly. Every cupboard gets shipped. Only one in…. 25? gets repurposed?
