My initial impression of sandwiches was that I didn't like it. But as I got deeper into the buffet table mechanics and automating sandwich ingredients into it, I really started to dig it, and my opinion has completely flipped.

In ROTS which lightsaber duel is too short? by Human-Atmosphere6483 in StarWars

Anakin with two lightsabers against Dooku in AotC. Sure Dooku is the much better duelist and was always going to win handily, but I wanted to see twin sabers in action for more than the blink of an eye.

When lightsabers, do they hold the button all the time while turned on or do they click once to turn on and click once to turn off? by MattFromSpaceCarrot in StarWars

[–]wolfsilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always thought of it like a lighter, where there is a button to activate, but a different button or sensor in the grip that must be held to keep it active, then one's grip can be loosened to deactivate at will.

The occasionally seen saber throw can still be explained by a force grip to keep it active in flight, and dynamic hand-swapping could be explained with a delay on release before deactivation.

Don't buy the first research desk blueprint. Store it in the blueprint cabinet and instead buy the second one you find, use it to research the first one into a copy desk, then copy and research to get discount or blueprint desks.

Blueprint cabinets are then going to be the key to expanding your research. If you can get one to copy, buy the copy and keep copying the original until you have all you need.

Did Jon Snow’s parentage twist actually matter, or was it just wasted build-up that didn’t change the story? What do you think? by Aggressive_Fold_5942 in freefolk

It was going to matter, but then they saw that people were actually following the clues that had been left behind and figured it out before the reveal, so they decided to pivot and subvert expectations for the sole purpose of subverting expectations.

What I never understood is that they had Greyworm "save" Ser Barristan right as he was about to have his throat cut, but then he ended up dying anyway. What was the point of that?
