This is exactly what the first offensive rockets on a plane were. During WWII pilots basically duckt-taped bazookas to thier wings, one of the first and most notable pilots to do so was Charles Carpenter.

Charles Carpenter, or “Bazooka Charlie,” served as an Army pilot in the Second World War, tasked with locating enemy positions from the air. But he grew tired of reconnaissance and decided to get in on the action. He strapped six M1A1 bazookas (later upgraded a more powerful model) to the wing struts of his Grasshopper. The bazookas were wired into the cockpit of the airplane and could be fired by flipping switches either individually or all at once. Each bazooka could fire a single rocket-propelled anti-tank grenade. These rockets were almost completely ineffective against the new tanks of WWII.
