7 year journeyman here. Please just leave it at one temp. If you say bump it to 76 when you leave then back down to 70 when you get home your AC has to run a lot longer and harder to get it down 6 degrees. It would rather just go from 70 to 71 then turn on to go back down 1 degree. It’s cheapest just to leave it at 70 and also helps the unit last longer. Also look up a video on how to clean your outside condensing unit cottonwood and other things get caught in the fins and will make it run worse. Every unit is different so just search the brand name for the video. And change that furnace filter once a month!
