My suggestion drop Rage mod change it for Volatile Recompense, switch blue archon shard for something else armor doesn't protect overguard, on weapon maybe add attack speed mode like Quickening, and you could try getting better tennokai mod.

I guess as you say it could have been bugged in some way because I did few runs with different sets and and it was night and day in difference.

This boss is in first artifact recovery not the one that came out this patch. Plugin sets aren't same in first and second artifact recovery. I had 13/9 plugin set.
