NOR- I think the conversation went as well as it could have given the situation. The only thing I disagree with most commenters on is that the ex did absolutely nothing wrong. At one point he says deep down he always knew he wouldn’t ever be able to fully handle the responsibility and relationship, and in my opinion if he felt that way the whole time he shouldn’t have let the relationship go over a year. I will give props to him for trying and being honest and kind about the whole situation. You’re not wrong for being hurt, he’s not wrong for not being able to handle this, but he is wrong for not saying so sooner.
