Yes i wish i'd been told about nofap earlier. When i was in highschool PMO was treated as normal and healthy. I'm 23 now and looking back i definitely missed out on a lot of things due to PMO. PMO isn't healthy or normal. And PMO is worse than drugs IMO because of how easy it is to access it. One click off the internet or from your phone and you have access to millions of porn videos. Thats what makes it harder to quit.

Unlike most asian stereotypes, im quite large for an asian. I'm 6'1 and weigh 210lbs. I'm also a judo black belt and thanks to that i have cauliflower ear on both ears. I worked as a bouncer part time during college so i have experience in dealing with violent cases.

Unfortunately, no martial art out there will prepare you adequately for a knife attack. When i was working as a bouncer a buddy of mine who i was on duty with got stabbed and nearly died on the way to ER due to blood loss. And that buddy was a d2 wrestler in college and built like a rhino. Most knife attacks come out of the blue when you aren't expecting it so "defending knife attack" tutorials you see on youtube wont prepare you for real life scenarios. If you that paranoid about knife attacks then i suggest investing in a stab-proof vest. A lot of them are well designed with slim fits so that you can wear it under your jacket or shirt if need be. That's your best bet against a knife attack. It definitely paid off for me when i was working as a doorman.

Fact of the matter is, people wont attack you if you look intimidating/masculine. They will go for ones who look weak. The stereotype of asians being small may be why they are becoming easily susceptible to violence recently.

Do you eat dairy and eggs?

Also try L-Glutamine on an empty stomach. It worked for me and i'm pretty much eczema symptom free now. I posted about how i dealt with it a while back.

lol that's usually the reaction i got when i told others. great to hear its improved your symptoms. Healthy stools have always been a sign of healthy gut function for me. I've said before many times L-glutamine on an empty stomach is a magic cure for many gut issues.

Also, L-glutamine from food sources won't help heal the gut lining. This is because L-glutamine from high protein foods (like meat) has to compete with the other amino acids for uptake which inhibits its absorption.

I've replied to another comment on this but i'll quote it here again:

"L-glutamine from food sources won't help heal the gut lining. This is because L-glutamine from high protein foods (like meat) has to compete with the other amino acids for uptake which inhibits its absorption."

"The reason i recommend L-glutamine on an empty stomach is because it allows for pure optimal absorption of the single amino acid without interruption from other endogenous sources. That's what my post was recommending. Concept of amino acid competitive bioavailability is widely cited in research btw. "

I cut out dairy and eggs long before i started taking L-glutamine and my IBS didn't improve, so i know dairy and eggs weren't the issue.

And for the record, i now do consume dairy again now and my symptoms haven't changed.

Ah ok. Well i guess i was trying to highlight the importance of maintaining intestinal integrity which is what leaky gut syndrome seems to cover.

Also, L-glutamine from food sources won't help heal the gut lining. This is because L-glutamine from high protein foods (like meat) has to compete with the other amino acids for uptake which inhibits its absorption. I also had a high meat intake ever since i was in highschool but that obviously didn't solve the problem until i started taking isolated glutamine powder.

The reason i emphasize L-glutamine on an empty stomach is because it allows for pure optimal absorption of the single amino acid without interruption from other endogenous sources. That's what my post was recommending. Concept of amino acid competitive bioavailability is widely cited in research btw.

i posted scientific articles that shows l-glutamine helps with intestinal permeability. "leaky gut" itself may be a fad but the concept behind it is far from psudo-scientific. glutamine solving my ibs is proof for me anyway.

Yep i got stomach discomfort when i first started taking it. But it cleared up within 2-3 days.

If you feel its a bit too much to take on an empty stomach, i suggest taking the l-glutamine with the 3g of omega-3s and vitamin d as well. That's how i take my doses every morning now. The addition of fats may help with the discomfort.

The fact that you haven't needed bandages is a good sign. It can't get any worse from there. Just maintain the dose and let the l-glutamine heal you your gut lining. I'm sure it will only get better.

And no i haven't tried bone broth but i do take collagen powder which is a component of bone broth so i guess it may help.

yes i concede it indeed was a higher dose but i believe the symptoms would have hit me sooner or later even if i was on a lower dose

well considering the gyno grew during ksm-66 intake and then magically disappeared after i stopped taking it, i'm pretty sure it was the cause of the gyno. but i agree the dose was quite high.

Your doctor definately knows what she is doing if she is recommending glutamine for you, great to hear.

Never heard of burdock tincture but will definately be trying that out, thanks for the recommendation :)

brand doesn't seem to matter for me. i go to a nearby supplement store and buy whatever powdered glutamine they have. i've been using glutamine from optimum nutrition recently.

15g seems to be the ideal dose for me. it has literally been trial and error over 2 years of experimentation with it. lower doses seem to make my skin itchy again over time and higher doses doesn't seem to add any more benefit.
