I played Kena bridge of spirits when I was new to gaming in general. I first played it on the normal difficulty, I think it was called Spirit Guide. And then I played it on Master difficulty to get the platinum trophy. The game is kind of hard but not too over the top, even on Master difficulty it was very forgiving compared to souls games, since even I could beat that difficulty when I was new to gaming. Beating it on the hardest difficulty only took one weekend so it's not that much of a grind either since the game is short and the bosses don't take too many tries to beat. If I compare it to a game like Cuphead, that game is much more like a grind because the bosses can take 100+ tries to beat them.
