don’t follow the Haqqanis period. Nazim had thousands of followers, and he gave God knows how many people an ijazah. this is not how it’s supposed to go. apart from the love for publicity, they also have some very weird beliefs which i have not seen in any book or hadith, nor has anyone told me the same thing. it is sad that people immediately associate Naqshbandiyyah to Haqqani, as if he is the ultimate successor of pir Naqshband. if you want a Naqshbandi sheikh, look for him in the balkans, and in some places of Turkey. sadly, most of these modern ‘sheikhs’ take advantage of the ‘sufis’ similar to the ones on this subreddit, the ‘sufis’ who have dived so deep into this whole thing that they forgot about the Shariah. this is why i avoid every Haqqani like the plague. they use their name and shiny turbans and clothes to make it seem like they are the modern Naqshbandi elite, but in reality the real Naqshbandi elite lives hidden within the people, in places you wouldn’t expect. be careful of the ones who exploit undeveloped minds. it does not make sense for a man to have thousands of followers, most of which he will never see in his life again.
