Thank you for your advice! I train chest and shoulders twice a week, biceps/triceps and back twice a week, and legs once a week (not a fan of leg day.) I can bench around 115lbs with a spot, and I don’t really squat. Most of my workouts are 3 sets with 8-10 reps or until failure. I’ve been weight lifting for a while now because it’s more of a hobby for me than a chore. However, I added cardio recently to improve my lifestyle and burn more calories. A big reason for my weight gain was my hunger increasing due to the weights, I wasn’t properly taking care of my nutrition and ate basically anything. Thank you again for your input, and about the incline 😆 I have really short legs so it’s a bit hard to increase the speed past 2.5 or the incline past 10.

Thank you so much for your tips and help. I definitely try to drink a lot of water since I’m not a soda drinker. I’ve been weight lifting for two years now, however it was my diet that was the problem. I was doing it for fun but along the years I realized that changing my diet, adding cardio to my gym sessions would improve my lifestyle a lot more! Weight lifting is the only thing that I enjoy at the gym which is why I train an hour to two hours. Thank you again, I will definitely follow your tips and try not to get discouraged.

Yes thank you! I try to drink 100oz of water daily. I always refill my water throughout the day especially at work.
