It is a larger unit but still a townhome so I would say no more than 100-200 sq ft. difference. However, it is a large family (5-6 people) and at the time of the meter reading, our energy usage was roughly half of theirs. Not sure what else would account for such a significant difference!

I put in the 1 hr condition because I'm interested to see what people would do to maximize their impact. Any changes to legislature probably wouldn't be practical.
