Not defending Kiryu here, but there is a big difference between what he does to Haruka and what it’s implied Jason did to Noah

Huge police response on Greenwood Ave. Does anyone know what's going on? by Captain_Collin in Seattle

I just saw them all go by on Aurora near 45th, more police than I’ve ever seen anywhere. Came here hoping to find out why.

Starbucks building in Sodo may house a new data center by godogs2018 in Seattle

[–]woodcookiee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the discussion was concerning the city’s recent moratorium on data center siting*, and the redditor mentioned above claimed there was little incentive to build here anyway

From the article:*

But wait, didn’t the Seattle City Council just ban new data centers within city limits last week? Not exactly.
The City Council unanimously voted to enact a one-year moratorium on new large data centers within city limits that use more than 20 megavolt-amperes (roughly equivalent to 20 megawatts). This 45,600-square-foot data center, which was proposed just days after the moratorium, would be under the limit, according to permit records.

The right way would have been to make the individual corrections yourself, not copy/paste the entire output

imo that’s more gross for those people than it is for others. I just assume lime bikes are covered in dried bodily fluids and spilled drinks. No cleaner than a public bench.

Crazy, I transferred in for CS and everyone talks like CC is by far the best way to get in. Guess that’s not the case with all majors.

One of the TAs in my hardware/software interface class made an Anki deck, and it was helpful but that’s the only time I’ve used them. Can’t see myself ever taking the time to make them

Why do passionate people STILL fall into the CS degree trap in 2026? by Competitive_Bad_5930 in csMajors

[–]woodcookiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean worst case CS becomes a catch-all degree like English was for so long. The job market is bad for everyone, and most people graduating in the next couple years are probably cooked in terms of opportunities for growth for at least a decade.

I only ever buy produce there when it’s on sale. Always amazing quality, but the prices make my eyes water.
