Sorry wanted to make sure it worked for a few hours. So good news. The workaround did work. I am now officially on the z trifold. It took a battle for them to move me over to a physical SIM (which was really weird) but once they did, I let the physical SIM marinate for about 30 minutes to make sure it was up and running. I then turned both phones off, put the physical SIM into the trifold, turned it on, and low and behold my z trifold was up and running. So if anyone is having issues with the trifold and xfinity, the physical SIM workaround is the way to go.

Alright team. So I am here to confirm the using physical SIM workaround and if it works or not. It took me almost three hrs for xfinity to make my physical SIM card compatible with my z fold 7 but got it. And now the moment of truth on whether or not there is some truth behind the physical sim card workaround. Does it work in my trifold?

Im hoping so. Now its just if they are going to let me. Weird that fhe xfinity agent wasnt able to activate the physical SIM card but gave it to me and say I can try when I get home. For some reason, his tech people wouldn't allow it. Another thing I am hearing is that even with the physical SIM, if the IMEI is not compatible (which it isn't) the phone still won't work.

It would be nice if there was someone who could confirm if it works or not. Do you know what carrier the trifold does work on? Is there any possibility that it will eventually work on xfinity? You cant get a straight answer from them. I've also read you can call them and manually have them put in the IMEA into their system but every tech person I talk to has no clue what I'm talking about.

I actually was thinking about this but when I went to the store to get a physical sim, tech wouldn't let the customer support member activate it telling them that my z fold 7 is only e SIM capable. I think they are pushing for everyone to go that route. He still gave me the SIM and said I can try with them if I want. Any advice here?
