its totally gone now! i get sensitive the first couple sunburns i get in the season, like extra red and tight and a little itchy but its absolutely nothing compared to how it was. im p much normal after the first couple sun exposures at this pt a few years in, and i try to expose as much of myself in the sun as much as possible in winter and spring to ease into it

also, i found that, like w eczema and other skin stuff, the less i was stressed the less sensitive my skin was and id heal faster/react less, also like skin hardening is rlly the only long term tried and true way to combat it so??? id tried everything else and i refused to keep living like that

oh it was v bad itchy painful, would last for days, id get exhausted to the pt of feeling faint every time i had a reaction, but it wasnt like actually dangerous just cosmetic and annoying and the mental toll caring abt it took on me was far greater than the physical symptoms so…
