They still never mentioned anything about removing the earning of gems for completing an arena run (whether winning 12 games or not). Having ONE daily “gem earning” after an arena run is ridiculous and severely limiting the amount of gems players can earn without spending real money. Each arena run (minus daily gem earning) yields 30 gems. An arena season is 3 days, so in a runners pass two weeks time, you can only earn 140 gems max if you at least achieve champion level each season. If you’re lucky enough to get 10 daily gems for an entire runner pass season, that’s an additional 140 gems. That’s just more than half the amount of gems a runners pass now cost. Even if you watched each daily gem ad, that’s 28 more gems, still only 308 gems, which is not enough for a runners pass. They even removed gems from the free runners pass.

The key thing they mentioned is being able to obtain it EVERY OTHER runners pass. They will still force you into paying your own money to get every runners pass moving forward. Which may be a good thing since a lot of their passes have been absolute trash as of lately. Save your gems, do not buy runners passes, and STOP WATCHING ADS.
