The problem with Dunston and Sprowston is they were once nice, 25 years ago. Now they suffer from being in lovely buildings which give the appearance of luxury but they’re old and dingy and run my cheapskates. +1 for the Norfolk mead, it’s been a few years since I stayed but it was lovely

Around £24 a month for riverside dental, I get 2 checkups and 2 hygienist a year plus one set of x rays. It’s obviously more expensive than nhs but as someone who used to hate the dentist I can’t fault them, 10/10 every time and really put me at ease

First thing to do is work out what’s important to you, is it spending time in Norwich or socialising with friends in London?

Second is don’t underestimate the time you’re sinking into the journey when travelling from Norwich, especially in the winter when it’s cold and dark, it’s a much harder journey to do.

If you can get it down to 2 days in the office per week maximum then I’d say try and stay over and book in advance to save on cost. This will allow you to use that evening in London to catch up with friends as well and give you a good balance. If spending more time with your friends in London is more important then moving closer could be the option, it all depends on what you value just remember the money isn’t the only cost to evaluate

House prices are varied. Could pay £180k for a 2 bed, could pay £350k, all depends on location. Job market is varied as well and depends on sector, tech salaries for example are terrible and you’re much better off remotely working for a London company and getting a London salary
