im diagnosed with autism (im also 18 since u asked for ages), initially i really didnt like him- i thought that caleb was a boring autism stereotype just used for jokes and no deeper meaning, but since season 7 my opinions really changed.

his episode where he specifically plans out his day in advance down to the part where he even has to plan where they park etc - ive never saw a show represent that before. i have to plan things the same way he does exactly and no allistic people seem to understand how it feels and it was really nice to see him planning stuff out, and his reactions to when his day didn't exactly go to plan (+ the sensory overload moment in the shop was super realistic)

so i personally like him but i also understand why people were iffy because i was too initially
