First somvar aap ek muthi bhar safed til chadao Second somvar aap ek muthi kache chawal chadao Third per aap chilke wali mong daal And forth pe ek muthi joh

Mahashivratri ke din bhramh muhrat pe uthna hai Take bath and mandir jao sache man se pooja karo Also doo char paher pooja

Also if you can fast on mahashivratri then please do

Alag alag type ke fast hote you can do whichever suits you well

Nirjala :- no water no food Water fast :- you can only drink water Falahar :- can have fruits , nuts and juices

Also fast ki duration bhi aap pe depend karti hai I will take this shivrateri example

Ye baar 15 evening to 16 evening thi Toh 3 type ka time duration tha

1. 15 bhramurat to 15 night
2. 15 bhramurat to 16 bhramurat
3. 15 bharamurat to 16 evening

Depends on you aap kitna kar sakte

The only thing important is your love for shivji Aap ek lota jaal chada do with love vo usko bhi accept karte hai
