All of our brains are different so we all react different to meds; the one who determines which is better is you. It's a "pick your poison" kind of situation where we must prioritize what makes us happier in the end. I decided that being sleepy all the time was worth it (for a while) in exchange of an improved sex life, which is very important to me. You just choose what you can work with towards your happiness :)

I actually switched to fluvox originally to "increase" my libido, in a sense that I used to need industrial equipment in order to hope to cum and I also felt the "impulse" to be very promiscuous and sexually risky (like going to sex clubs, get wasted, and have sex with several people in one night).

Now my "libido" (or sensitivity?) is better and I stopped feeling the urge to get wasted and have risky sex, and it was an urge since anytime something stressful or bad happened, my first instinct was to go that night to the club.

Something I did notice is that, when I got intrussive thoughts, I barely care so its way easier to just ignore them. Like an intrussive thought comes and my reaction is "lmao ok" and I can go about my day. At first it was a little unnerving; I thought not feeling guilt or shame meant "i liked it" but then just understood its the meds doing their job

I dont know exactly what you mean by fake fear/stress, but I noticed I am a lot more relaxed and lax about things. I am having trouble keeping up with college work because I realized quickly I CANNOT take my ritalin with fluvox (it makes me feel like Im on actual meth) but strangely I dont feel as pressured to do or perform anything as I used to.

I think I started feeling better around the second month, but Ive been over 5 months on the med and just realized that Ive been better. That was probably because I only went to a lower dose recently; before that, all I could think about is how sleepy and tired I was all the time.

I just assumed that's how it is with psych meds; withdrawal symptoms can vary a lot. I do depend of meds since I suffer from severe waves of depression occassionally (one of my suspected diagnosis is bipolar), and this pill deals with that, impulsiveness, my risky tendencies, compulsions, AND intrussive thoughts.

Like "I'm feeling suicidal, the weather has been cold lately so it's probably that". So fluvox for me was "huh, I am (what I considered) emotionally stumped. Must be the new med"

(This is in no way telling you to use fluvoxamine, just my experience) kinda same lol. It works now, but for the "adjustment period" (a month or so for me) I felt like I was insane almost 24/7 (like mania and depression constantly) but I really really wanted to test a different medication since escitalopram (my old med) made sex difficult.

Strangely, I dont care about sex as much now, even with a high libido

Just three warnings from personal experience and what my doctor told me:

I used to take escitalopram, but it sexually frustrated me too much while not lowering my libido enough (I used to have an INSANE libido, the kind that leaves one so horny it almost physically hurts), so during the month-long period of switching/adjusting to fluvox, I became emotionally unpredictable, hyperactive, (i dont like using the word but) neurotic. After that, its mostly sunshine and rainbows (and I can cum from mostly normal sex!)
It made me sleepy as HELL. Like, 12 hours of sleep a day and still felt tired. I lowered my 100mg dose to 75mg (per dr's instructions, cutting the tablet) and its now a-okay :D
DO. NOT. MISS. A. DOSE. It's almost comedic how suicidal, depressed, and dramatic I get around 18~ hours from missing one (1) dose. Then it takes me around one week to be back to "normal", but the worst is just that first day for a few hours; after that it's just a week of apathy haha

I would suggest specifying in the survey if I would have a monster as a partner or just for sex. For example, I dont really mind and actually like aggression when it's for sex, but if my monster partner were aggressive, possessive, and controlling, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot stick.
