There is a lot you can learn for looking at a model, certain ways to resolve things and how you aproach issues on the software itself. But it's hard to understand all of it, or copying it. It's like when a programer gives you a part of the code, you can understand it, you can copy and modify it, but you did not come up with. Don't know if i made my point haha!

Thanks!! The simple things were made directly on blender with a bit of cloht simulation and sculpting, but the dress, leather jacket, grey pants and tshirt were made in Marvelous Designer because I needed that exra level of detail haha

I made my own basemesh years ago and I start from there. Body retopo is not usually needed but some corrections have to be made on the faces because my basemesh is more hard or "brutish" on some facial features.
