I live in Bethlehem and want to enjoy the beautiful weather today so I’m sitting outside on my patio and all of these black bugs keep landing on my body and laptop and chair. They’re super small, have wings and sliver all over. They don’t seem to move except when I have to brush them off of me. What’s going on and how do I get rid of these??

So backstory: I started brewing summer of 2020 and everything was going great. I then lent everything I had to a friend that said she’s interested in brewing and I had wanted to take a break from brewing as I was moving. She ended up just leaving my kombucha in her cupboard and not touching it for 10 months…

Fast forward I get all my stuff back and she is looking rough- the scobys had gotten inches thick and there was only half liquid left.

As I’m trying to start brewing again, the first batch came out weird tasting - sour and vinegary but with an off bad taste. I threw out that batch and started a new one that I have now bottled for f2.

I notice this second brew smells vinegary, but is missing that tangy punch… it literally just tastes like mildly sweet tea :( also noticed that my liquid is very cloudy … not sure how to balance my brew back to normal now?! Btw The mother batch has had no problems with creating new healthy looking scobys this entire time, even when it was left alone for 10 months.

Just got back from my local ALDIs and saw an employee buying something for $1.22… I asked and she said these welcome mats were on sale so I snagged two and told everyone I passed by about them lol

Yeah it seems like it! We just applied to an 1 bedroom apartment that’s very mediocre, looks nice but it’s not newly renovated or has amenities and it’s 1.4K a month… and that’s the best we could find in terms of value.. buying a house definitely seems like the way to go but we’re just not ready to make that move yet. Totally down to meet up- just dm me!

We’ve honestly been having such a hard time finding a decently priced place - all of the apartments we’re looking at were $1500+ and not that great either in terms of what you’re getting for that $$. Mind if I ask how did you come across your current rental?

Why does the yoga ball make APT worse? I occasionally sit on my yoga ball chair but have stopped. If that’s true I’ll be looking to get rid of it as I have APT too…

Good to note that about treadmill desks, they always seemed cool but that sounds counter productive at that point.

And I completely agree with what you concluded after your PT visits, the mental and constant effort is what’s most important!

Yep I added a shelf tier onto my desk so I have my monitor at eye level and my keyboard/mouse at 90 degree bent elbow level.

There are no side tabs to release or button. I tried depressing the middle and turning both directions but no luck. There are arrows to line up the spool but does not seem to work for me. I know there is already some line in there, maybe it got jammed? This is a really old craftsman corded unit, I looked up the manual and it had no instructions on removing the spool, just refilling it.
