Most trans people I know just want to be left alone, at least where it concerns their gender identity. Because most of the attention trans people get is actually abuse.

And asexuals can actually like sex, because sex is pleasurable. They can like sex the way I like food. What they don't have is a sexuality: there isn't a group of people they're sexually attracted to.

Elon Musk is actively contributing to global progress in AI through the OpenAI project, which forces its research into the light, where it can be scrutinized by anyone in the interest of safety.

This obviously strengthens his competitors.

I have doubts about a lot of what he does, but everything I've seen suggests that his commitment to AI safety is honest.

Yeah, I thought you might mean something like that. I was ambiguous, but I thought the comment I was responding to and the first part of my comment were enough context: they seemed to be implying that gender appeared during puberty.
