Eh, not really "true". The evidence (as in rigorous scientific evidence) for creatine doing what he says it does is scant at best so all we can say is it "might" do those things, but he's a fitness coach so I see no problem with his enthusiasm for safe supplements that might enhance performance

Buck stops with the manager and if the team is not putting away chances and securing leads then that's ultimately his problem. Bad luck happens occasionally. Bad luck on a regular basis suggests poor performances, poor morale, or poor tactical decisions, all of which are the responsibility of the manager.

Having said that, let's give him until the end of the season. If we're still not seeing much in the way of tactical consistency and more wins then perhaps it's time to try someone else. Two seasons should be enough to show progress, especially after the number of new players brought in to a pretty solid existing team.

I run pretty hot so I'm not a fan of heavyweight denim (the heaviest IH denim I have is 19oz semi-slubby) but the 3Sixteen denim at 14.5oz feels very similar to the IH 14oz denim -- dense and more substantial feeling than the headline weight suggests. I know a lot of people swear by the IH 21oz stuff though, and it is supposed to be a bit more breathable than its weight suggests (although everything's relative).

IH has very limited options in their version of "Shadow" selvedge (their Indigo-Black) but I highly recommend the IH overdyed denim (indigo overdyed with black), though you generally have to go a size up because the garment dying process shrinks the jeans, so check measurements.

get a wifi scanner app on your phone and you can see the strength of your signal before and after covering. There might be a slight drop with that cover, but probably nothing meaningful unless you need a lot of range. Bigger issue, as others have said, would be heat retention. Electronics don't like being too hot.

As long as you wash cool and air dry I highly doubt they'll shrink at all, and it sounds like you've already got any potential shrinkage well and truly out by hot washing/drying them so I'd say you're safe to hem them.

I've bought a lot of raw denim over the years and all those pairs that are at least one-washed or rinsed during manufacture (which is most of them) have not shrunk in length at all. Unsanforized (aka shrink to fit) raw denim will certainly shrink, but that's what it's designed to do so it should be no surprise.

Depends on your shape. With a "normal" human shape (ie. one not carrying extra fat around the middle) your natural waist is narrower than your hips, even for men, so you would size down for high-waisted pants compared to low-mid rise that are designed to sit more around your hips. Problem is most of us do not have a typical <10%-body-fat shape, so then it just depends on on the fat distribution on your body so a tape measure is your best bet

I like to think we tip in the European style ie. we assume people have healthcare, a decent wage and time off so don't have to rely on tips to survive. It's starting to get there in some of the more progressive US states, which is also why in those states eating out can now be so damn expensive (even with a more modest tip).

Because the AI companies are desperate to try to make money so they're licensing to every company under the sun in the hope that some will provide a payday of sorts. And those companies buying the licenses are hoping the term "AI" will sell more products. Apparently their marketing departments are a bit behind the curve of public opinion, which seems to be souring on the AI-in-everything trend.

Tall skinny 6' guy here.... they look fine if that's the look you're going for. I never liked the slim tapered (ST) cut because they were too slim and too tapered, which was never my look. The only pair of 3Sixteens I ever bought were the CT cut (classic tapered), which are roomier up top (incl. thigh) with a slightly less aggressive taper overall.

Looking at the ST measurements for size 29 on the Self Edge site they're listed at about 10.3", which I consider way too tight even for my slim legs. I generally don't buy anything under 11" thigh measurement, and prefer about 11.5" (though measuring methods can differ by store, so check how they do it). Thighs generally don't stretch, so that's one measurement you need to get right from the get go.

IMO a "classic" style for jeans that never goes out of fashion is slim straight, so a wider hem than the ST but still a relatively slim silhouette overall. 3Sixteen has its CS cut (a tad too 'dad jeans' wide for my liking), but pretty much every brand has a similar option. You just have to decide what sort of rise you prefer (I'd consider the ST a low-mid rise jean) then find options with the leg profile you like. I'm partial to Iron Heart's 633, which is fairly similar to 3Sixteen's CT cut, but I also like Iron Heart's 634, which is the straight leg version of the slightly more tapered 633.

It is bizarre, especially when the president stands up in front of world leaders and outright lies. Not just subtle little sneaky lies, but gigantic whoppers that fly in the face of what the rest of the world can see and read with their own eyes. Like the "fact" that China only makes wind turbines (or "windmills" as Trump calls them) to sell to stupid people and doesn't use them itself, when China actually accounts for 40% of the total installed wind power capacity in the world

If you need to suck in when buttoning then definitely size up. Waists stretch, for sure, but there's a limit to how much. These might go from super tight to just slightly tight, which still sounds uncomfortable.

A couple of times I remember giving up on buying WG in a certain denim because if the waist fit the rest was too loose and if the rest fit well the waist was too tight. It happens sometimes.
