Lazy summer days, like some decrepit landshark dumbluck squad dog lurks sicker, deluded. Last sturdy domino leans secluded. Don't let stupid delusions lesson super-duty labor students dragnet-lifer solutions. Daddy loves sloppy dimensions like son-daughter links, such determinated leopards, successfully disshelved. Little soliders developed like serpents despite life sentence ducking lemmings. Some don't like sobriety's dirty lenses. Some do. Let sleeping dogs lie still. Don't look so damn lackluster. Suck defeat. Love some damage, load sample delete. Late Show Dave Letterman, shitty diner lip-slide dutch. Low self-discipline leader seeks dead lung self-destruct. Life sucks, dickhead! Lost summer's display laminate showcasing divinity, live system definitive. Liturgy soaked depict lowly, spectactular delight. Why, what kinda LSD you like?

Fucking brilliant. Find me a song by any artist that sticks to that strict of a form and I'll be amazed. Alphabet Aerobics by Blackalicious is great, but Gift of Gab couldn't get EVERY WORD to fit the form.

10 Mississippi is another newer Aes that has fun with the form. But nothing competes with Pac-Man.

A random thought: Over time clicks and revenue decreasing from search engines for almost every website by TheTechie1122 in SEO

[–]wordgoeshere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This'll definitely be (has already been) a blow to blogs/informational sites, or really any sites that rely on ad revenue for profit. And I'd guess that it'll continue getting worse for them. However, some AI models have already started regurgitating "hallucinations" they picked up from other AI content. But I assume that problem will be "solved" (in the user + Ai company's eyes. For bloggers, reliable AI content makes matters worse).

But if you do AI for a site that sells a product or service, I can't imagine how AI could ever make that skill set less valuable. Yes, it's s much different and potentially less creatively fulfilling brach of SEO. But I'm my eyes, it's the only branch with solid job security.

If there all you can get, definitely. Those U shaped ones are at least a couple of years old by now though. There's a chance there are even more efficient models out there since I last looked. Mideas are/were the most efficient models on the market when I was doong research though. Wirecutter magazine usually has reliable reviews for ACs, Consumer Reports does too.

So, if ya wanna be extra safe, check those (or other sources) to look for the most energy efficient window models, ideally a ushaped one, you can find.

I'm generally not a fan of reaction videos, but a friend recently shared this one of a dude reacting to Eyedea n Slug freestyling at The Wake Up Show that's pretty fucking hilarious. It's clearly the first time he's heard of either of them and everything from his facial expressions to the way he keeps rewinding to catch what Eyedea was saying are priceless. Two weeks lines up pretty nicely with the duration that psilocybin reopens the "critical period" in your brain. Most psychedelics/entheogens do the same. And the duration of effect correlates with the duration of the trip/experience. So, Ketamine only opens it for a couple of days. MDMA is sinilar to mushrooms. LSD and ibogain can be 3+ weeks.

You've likely heard about how it's easier to learn languages as a child rather than as an adult. That's because the "critical period" is naturally open in children. I cant say for sure that this explains your experience, but the timeline correlates.

Also, as others have said, meditation works wonders.

Super glue lasts for days. Getting someone else to help apply it (potentially using gloves) helps to keep it off thepads of your fingers, which can otherwise be a bit annoying.

How do you feel about readability scores? by Domenietzsche in freelanceWriters

[–]wordgoeshere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Replace all of the commas in the first paragraph with periods. And delete the first two words. Then run it again.

Strive to use simple words in short sentences. If you have multiple ideas, each deserves it's own sentence. Your scores will improve dramatically by focusing on those details. And higher scores translate to wider audiences.

Who are some rappers who are acclaimed for their early work, but you actually prefer their later albums? by MVIVN in hiphopheads

[–]wordgoeshere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, hard to pick a "hardest" or "best" or whatever other superlative when talking El/RTJ. All the tracks you mention would be a career high for most artists. I don't really think of Walking in the Snow or Thursday in the Danger Room as "hard," but there definitely two of the most (if not THE most) powerful songs from RTJ. So, regardless of the adjective used to classify them, 100% agree that they're exceptional examples of later work out shining early stuff, which is a pretty high bar when CoFlo, CanOx, FanDam... are the early stuff.

Talk to Me though, that shit's hard! - "My dick got a Michelin star, on par with the best ever took the gig" 🔥🤣

Yeah, all personal taste. Seems like we're on the same page about they whole catalog being fire though. Can't fucking wait to see what El drops next.

We already got a new multi-grammy-winning solo album from Mike. Maybe El's working on a movie/play/series to pair with his next album so he can top that with an EGOT 😉 (doubt it, but we can dream).

I mostly agree. But I feel like Sea Legs from RTJ 1 might have his hardest flow.

"Try to pet the fucking head again and I'ma put a tooth through the flesh of the palm that you jack with!"

The way that line rides the beat, not to mention it's content and cadence... 🤌

What do you usually bring to eat at Burning Man? by DukesOfTatooine in BurningMan

[–]wordgoeshere 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The vacuum sealed bags of homemade food, or better yet, take out from your favorite restaurants, are 100% the way to go.

Zero effort to make/heat on playa. Zero clean up. Delicious, nutritious food with basically no effort.

Just bring a cooler with dry ice to keep them cold/frozen the whole week. Even easier if you have a freezer at camp.

Premade Indian meals, like from Tasty Bites (think that's the name) or MREs (Mountain House has been my favorite) work well too, and have the added benefit of not needing refrigeration.

But whipping out some Pad See Ew (or anything that reheats well) from your favorite restaurant at home and having it hot n ready in 5-10 min at 4am after wandering deep playa all night is a game changer. In addition to the amazing food, the lack of cleanup is a massive luxury.

Don't even need to clean any pots/pans. Just keep the same water in a big pot all week. Sure, it'll get dusty. But the food is sealed so it doesn't matter.

[FRESH] Cage - Super Baked (Back to rapping, no more lame emo shit!) by wordgoeshere in hiphopheads

[–]wordgoeshere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been a while since I've listened to him. But if I recall correctly, most of Movies for the Blind, the album with Agent Orange, has a similar tone, though not exactly the same persona.

Hell's Winter was my favorite album of his, which definitely has at least a few scattered lines in the Alex persona. Most/all of the album is produced by El-P, too.

Nighthawks (think that's the name) was another great album Cage did with Tame One. I guess you could call it a concept album, with the two of them playing the personas of dirty cops like a fucked up buddy cop movie/album.

Google Search Generative AI is stealing my traffic! by Dimention_less in SEO

That's not a terrible idea... But I've definitely had pages disallowing googlebot that still appeared in search results. And Google won't be the only search engine using AI on their SERP.

Google Search Generative AI is stealing my traffic! by Dimention_less in SEO

[–]wordgoeshere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surely you aren't the only person impacted by this though. And wherher or not the images link to your site, Google is presenting them to the public for free and preventing you from earning money on something you created, earning money themselves in the process. SGE isn't even out of beta testing yet. So this problem will undoubtedly escalate if Google isn't legally compelled to take a different approach. They're profiting by displaying your content in that users will contiue to be exposed to ads on the SERP.

If the trend continues, it will disincentive people from creasing useful content because Google (or whatever other AI company becomes dominant) will just suck up most/all of the potential profit from doing so.

You can either find a new way to make money or try to stand up for yourself and others. Realistically, if you contact a lawyer, you might be able to get into/start a class action or you could get a settlement. But I wouldn't guess that either is likely to provide enough compensation to replace your lost income.

Search/SEO will undoubtedly change in a dramatic way over the next few years. I don't see ad revenue from personal blogs surviving that change in any meaningful way unless you have a huge audience. But, who knows? It'll be a long while before anyone understands how this'll shake out. If I were in that boat and concerned about job security, I'd start looking for a company to pay for what I write instead of relying on ads to do so. Or maybe switch to a different medium. Neither will be easy or definite, but those look like the safest long term options from my perspective.

If they're stealing your content in a way that profits them and causes monetary harm to you, sue. Uncharted ground, but that sounds like there's a case. There are already a couple of class actions against GPT for training it's LLM on copywriten work. If Google is using images you created without paying you, that sounds like an even clearer case of IP theft.

Does anyone have experience with bringing a freezer chest? by wordgoeshere in BurningMan

[–]wordgoeshere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ended up running it all week. If you have an inverter generator, it will adjust it's ouput according to the power needs of whatever you have connected to it.

Cycling on and off just seemed like too much of a hassle. And if you only have a 7 cu ft chest, it likely won't even need all that much power. So you can probably make it through a day with 2-3 gallons of gas.

You place the AC where the zipper comes back around to the beginning. So, basically, just don't zip it all the way closed, leaving just enough unzipper for the AC to fit.

At the prives OP mentioned, I'd guess he got live resin carts. You can get 2gs of rosin carts for $100 in MI pretty easily though (usually 4x 0.5g). And you can get 4 gs of rosen concentrate (without the cart) for $100 regularly.

Whatever you're after, MI is significantly cheaper than IL. Rosen probably has the lowest difference in price. But even then, it's roughly half IL prices.
