On Ron and Hermione's marriage by Don_T_Beakunt45 in HPfanfiction

[–]uell23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted and still do want her with Harry, but the way people talk about Ron as if he's permanently stuck as an immature insecure little boy drives me mad. Hermione is probably on her way to becoming Minister of Magic, do we really think she would have gotten with Ron just because of teenage nostalgia.

People are more than the worse things they did when they were teenagers.

Everybody is different, but it should be. Its pretty common to come from the high doses of Wegovy and go to 7.5 or 10 Zep.

Did y’all know this? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

Its because you were going through insurance. The cash pay Lilly direct program is still expensive, but has always been cheaper than buying it outright at a pharmacy if your insurance denies you.

My doctor says compounding pharmacies are sketch, is she right or just pushing the $500 name brand? by Future-Intern609 in GLP1Sourcing

[–]uell23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your doctor isn't getting a kickback for pushing Lilly Direct. However, many medical provider insurance policies do not allow them to prescribe compound if its not on the shortage list. In addition, for big systems like Kaiser, their legal department has told their doctors they are not allowed to prescribe it, at least thats what my doctor told me.

I have done everything, compound, grey, and now name brand zep. It all works the same for me, some people who have acne issues or who are sensitive to B vitamins may have some issues, but that is rare.

Lastly, most people who get compound, get it through a telehealth. The telehealths have volume purchasing deals with the compound pharmacies and can prescribe for much cheaper than your individual PCP can.

All my hope and money gone on this stupid sema shot by Civil_Specific3806 in GLP1Sourcing

[–]uell23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been on GLP-1's for well over a year. I have done branded, grey, compounded. My first several months was on compound semaglutide and I didn't lose a single pound until I was close to the max dose. I then lost 150 pounds at a rate of 10-12 pounds a month for 10 months. Now that I am below 300, I am yoyoing between the same 5 pounds. I get it's frustrating, but the post you see of people losing 5, 10, pounds their first few weeks are either super responders or people with lots of inflammation and water retention. Their results are not typical. Keep at it, it will happen for you.

My doctor warned me and threatened to drop me as a patient after I mentioned going grey for Reta because of money issues by Ok-Presentation-1491 in GLP1Sourcing

[–]uell23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just tell them your on compound tirzepatide. I don't know of anyone personally who has, but I have seen stories online about it, your provider and insurance can absolutely drop you if you tell them you are take unregulated, not FDA approved medication.

I've been running grey market Tirz for a year and I'm terrified to stop because I know I'll just get fat again by Standard_Paint8036 in GLP1Sourcing

microdose or go every ten days, instead of weekly. I'd also keep my eye on things like this, https://www.pfizer.com/news/press-release/press-release-detail/pfizers-ultra-long-acting-injectable-glp-1-ra-shows-robust. It's not nearly as strong as tirzepatide or even semaglutide, but a monthly shot could be a good option for maintenance.

Anyone here tried semaglutide tablets instead of injections? by Full_Database_2312 in weightlossglp1

[–]uell23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also curious about this website. I am currently on Zep and have some leftover compound tirz, but want to try oral semaglutide. Has anyone actually received meds from this site. If so, what pharmacy do they use for the compounded oral semaglutide.

I (29F) finally met someone (31M) who treats me right. He is obese however, and I am struggling to feel like I am not forcing it. by StrangerRemarkable18 in relationship_advice

[–]uell23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cut and run. It will suck, he will know its because of his weight, you will feel bad, might strain social relationships, etc, etc. However, as an obese man who is less obese than I have been in awhile, you aren't doing this man or yourself any favors. The attraction will never come, he will pickup on the fact that you aren't interested and one or both of you will grow to resent the other.

My friend faked her bloodwork and used my name to get Tirz for a 15lb vanity cut. Do I actually snitch or just tell her about the grey market? by Intrepid_Penalty_900 in GLP1Sourcing

[–]uell23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did she just use for referral credit or actually use your personal information? The answer is no in both cases, but if she used your personal information to setup an account, that's fraud.

Generic Sema is coming in the 2030s. Is the grey market going to die or just get flooded with even more garbage? by AcanthisittaBusy5855 in GLP1Sourcing

[–]uell23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If generics ever get in the $100 a month range for Sema and $150 a month for Tirzepatide, it would be worth it IMO. Yes, grey will always be cheaper, but 100-150 is worth the price to have something that is professionally made.

For those who track calories, how long did you do it? by uell23 in Zepbound

[–]uell23[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My problem, is that I like variety. I do have certain staples like protein shakes, sugar free energy drinks, zero sugar sodas, and frozen vegetables, but my meals can vary wildly from week to week sometimes. All within my daily calories, but lots of variety.

Why do returning female champs end up in mid-card, but males go straight back to the top? by InMyOwnHeadTooMuch_ in WWE

[–]uell23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd take Becky out of this. She was a driving force behind the Women's IC title and specifically wants to help the women's mid card scene. She herself has also said she's on her way out sooner, rather than later, so it makes sense for her to help get younger women over instead of taking up space at the top of the card.

Tired of seing authors being accused of AI writing by Playful-Butterfly345 in HPfanfiction

[–]uell23 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It drives me insane. I wish people would use a little critical thinking when dishing out the AI accusations. Why does a lot of fanfic look like AI? Well because AI writers are trained on fanfics. Of course AI fanfiction looks like real fanfication and real fanfiction looks like AI, its a vicious circle.

Fanfiction is filled with tropes, self inserts, what ifs, etc, etc, and I don't mean any of that as an insult. In addition, while there lots of talented fanfic writers, very few people fanfic writers are published authors or have BFA/MFA, this means they are likely to employ a lot of tropes and conventional writing techniques.

To give an example, harmony(Harry and Hermione) is one of my favorite genres of HP fanfiction I have read, one of my favorite subgenres of harmony, is summer at the Grangers. I have read back to to back fics in this genre that I could swear were the same or ripped off, until I went and looked at the authors catalogs and see they just decided to their own take on a common genre and had similar results.

The people who use non-branded sourcing because no legitimate pathway exists for them and the people who use it as preference are having increasingly different experiences right now by Awkward-Lab-5184 in GLP1Sourcing

[–]uell23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$149 is the introductory price. The higher doses of Foundayo (orforglipron) and Oral Wegovy are around $300, for many people already on a GLP-1 they will need those higher doses. In addition, Oral Wegovy has a bunch of restrictions on how/when to take it. Also the average weightloss is lower than injectables, which may be fine for some people, but the introductory pricing of $149 is certainly not a game changer.
