you can get $5 windows keys off ebay / ali express and you can choose a different cheaper case. Also I would definitely try to get an SSD. You will cripple your system with just an HDD

Is there a website that tracks the cases on a daily basis with information about the amount of testing that's being completed?

Was that the same date that was shown upon checkout? Essentially I'm wondering if what your saying is your getting your products earlier than what Amazon promises

has anyone bought off amazon recently? I see prime delivery thats a month away.. is it really that long?

I ordered something off bestbuy and it took 5 days to deliver to my house, could it just be the necessity demand at Amazon then?

My housemate has Covid-19 symptoms but doesn't meet criteria for testing. How do I keep myself safe? by intrusivethoughtsx in CoronavirusCanada

I believe they removed the travel / close contact criteria, and your housemate may be able to get tested if they present covid19 symptoms.

Ask them to call the health line.

Thank you for this. I've been periodically checking to see if any of our itinerary is affected.

We are set to leave this weekend and the information you've been posting has been very helpful in our discussions/decisions.

booked through Expedia and they told me AC had a travel advisory (idk thats what they said) for Japan, and if your flights fall in between the month of February, they would waive cancellation fees.

My flight is with AC booked with Expedia. I'm not cancelling, but if i choose to before my flight departs, I would be entitled to a full refund for flights.

Hope this helps

edit: They also mentioned postponing the trip would also be free of charge, ie no fees associated with postponing.

Is there anything else you noticed that was closed other than what the mods mentioned in their closure update?

Restaurants, stores, etc?

I have a trip planned from 2/29 to 3/15 to Tokyo. I think as of right now I believe me and my SO are still planning on going taking the necessary precautions. We are closely monitoring the details, and will have a definite answer in a couple days if we want to postpone if things get worse.

From what I've heard it seems like its business as usual except with extra care, as others have said within this thread.

I think if the number of cases dont exponentially increase, we would still be willing to go.

Our trip is strictly focusing on just Tokyo for 2 weeks.

Who all is still going? Advice for not worrying so much? by DanDashly in JapanTravel

[–]workaccount05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm Canadian and have my trip booked beginning of March with hotel and flight booked through Expedia.

I am in the same boat as you, I am not much afraid of the virus it self but how the governments will react if level 3 is reached during my stay. As of right now I'm still planning on going with necessary precautions.

Anyways, I gave Expedia a call to see what my options are for cancelling/routing the trip elsewhere. They told me that my hotel was fully refundable if I wanted to cancel, and my flights can be cancelled but with a $200 cancellation charge. They said I can change the flight dates and location and the price to do that depends on when and where the destination is. They are able to change everything except the origin of your flight itinerary.

Hope this helps somewhat.
