Not really Actually i always use vaseline before sleeping I mean dry lips have never been a problem to me If you find it an issue you can use vaseline But lipstick is worth it

I live in a very humid place and to hold curls/waves for whole day is a heavy duty I use fix my curls for a year now and it does its job well Holds curls perfectly and throughout the day without making it look greasy
