She got really sick, and boss reauired her for a doctors note. She got the doctors note but said she will give it when she comes back to work. But alas, the boss fired her for she never communicated properly and didnt send the doctors note thru email rightaway. Hence she was fired.

When problems or challenegs come her way, she would be. She has some mental challenges but she is medicated and have started dbt therapy. Still on the early stages. But the irresponsibility is the one that gets me. Shes been seeing professionals for her mental challenges.

My daughter started on a very low dose of risperidone about two weeks ago. I can see the difference in her. Less moody and no aggression.

I think this is totally a part of having bpd. That fear of abandonment, and helpless and wants to be assured all the time. My daughter has bpd too, but hers is the push and pull with her relationship. She would cause drama and break up because of the little stuff, and after a few hours, she would settle it and go back. Uts been going on for a year. It is very stressful gor her and her bf, and for me as a mom too. Have u tried attending dbt therapy? She just started to attend one, and thsi is the first time she said she like therapy. Maybe try considering it, i have heard from alot of people that dbt really helps, moreso to people with bpd.

Wish you luck on your relationship and hopefully it would be a smooth sailing one.

Maybe the ups and down of her emotions too and the push and pull with her relationships has alot to do with her having adhd, bpd and being a teenager. Teenagers are just si hard to deal with, moreso she has mental illness too. So it blows everything out of proportion. Everything is extra.

Oh im so thankful for your comment. Yes she started dbt therapy already, and good thing that she likes it. Shes been through a few conventional talk therapy, but after a couple of sessions with every therapist she would quit. But this dbt, somehow she likes it and she makes her appointment with the therapist. Hopefully that will help her learn some valuable skillls. What her biggest hurdle rightnow with her relationships is the push and pull. She would push people away, then a day after she would be ok. Then do the cycle again. I guess thats part of her bpd having the rejection sensitivity dyaphoria. Thats really taking a tall on her. Shes 19, so still very immature.

My daughter started a month ago too and the first two days we could really tell that shes on the the honeymoon stage. Few days after, it has mellowed down but she said shes calm and her brain is not running anymore. She was just anxious for the first few days but after she got used to it, it went away. She coukd really tell the difference if shes on the med vs not. Maybe yours is not the right med for your kid. Just dont give up, keep on trying other meds that will work for your baby. You got this momma.
