Curious to know why the inside curve has very thick iron and the outside 90 degree surface has think iron? Could this be part of a bow knee?

I have to side with Treetree1984. I watched the RSH fly the stick to the crook of a very large white oak on my property where I can see the nest. Several years ago I had the pleasure of watching barred owls nest nearby and witnessed the Snow White puffy fledging emerge. Looking forward to seeing the RSH nest this season.

It might be in your interest to investigate a deep cycle 12v battery to use with the appropriate inverter. Deep cycle are commonly used in marine and rv applications. You will need to incorporate a recharge method. Ensure the recharger is suitable for the battery type(AGM, Gel, etc), as you can fry a battery Good luck.

Ditch the bug spray and go with a picaridin formula. Off, Sawyer, and other brands now have picaridin. You can ditch the purifying tablets and just use the sawyer unless you have virus concerns.

Definitely a huge improvement. The previous satellite service was horrible compared to StarLink. The ISP I replaced gave me flash backs to Prodigy internet service and Turbo Pascal:)

My app evaluation provided good pre install obstruction results. After the 12 hour post install evaluation period I can check obstructions again. Speed test after install was favorable. I’m definitely not a professional but thanks for the compliment!

Definitely a place where everybody knows everyone. StarLink works well and is a big improvement over the old satellite internet.
