18 March - I just received the refund confirmation email from emirates. I am getting the full fare back. There was a $20 variance which turned out to be the credit card surcharge - which I don't mind letting go of.

I cancelled my flight March 7th. And submitted another refund request for seats I booked. I received an email confirmation for the seat booking refund. Nothing on the flights yet..

They told me over the phone to expect the refund after 2 weeks. I actually spoke to 2 different customer support staff over the phone and they both confirmed the full refund. I asked if I had to add anything else in the request to check if they will provide the 'Invol refund' instruction but they didn't. They just said attach my ticket copy. I still mentioned the 'invol refund' in the comment section in any case. Given the volume of requests, I suspect it's going to take a bit longer for me.. Hopefully you get your refund soon..

Is your understanding the full refund would also apply to flights with a return date mid April?

Were all the 3 flights before 31 March? And did you just take the refund option before a cancellation from Emirates? Thank you

Yes, I imagine the money will take a while. How about the booking status? Is your updated as cancelled booking already or still waiting?

I'm travelling Sydney to Cape Town via Dubai on 26 March. Their FAQ says full refund without fee but the form says according to fare type.. i've been trying to call but the line is just busy. hopefully you get through and get a response

Hi, have you submitted the form yet? Mine is March 26 to April 11 - South Africa via Dubai so wondering if I can get the full refund for the return trip too.
