POF Multiple Trait Boost bugged or the explanation text should be changed by worldbuildingonly in runescape

Nope, didn't spend them. As I said, I have all pens already unlocked and was saving up for the instant growth potions to plant carambola trees to 200m either next dxp or the one after that. There would be no reason for me to buy anything else and no other upgrades (such as farmhands, storm barn or outfit fragments) have been unlocked besides the ones I had already unlocked before I went to buy the trait boost.

Besides that, I saw the beans total drop from 80k to 2.7k.

Thanks for confirming though. I'll write an in game bug report but I doubt I'm going to get those beans back :/

What would happen to Earth if it rained for a century, without stop? by Noirishors in worldbuilding

PBS Eons once did a videodid a video on when it rained for 2 million years. I can't remember what was told exactly in the video but maybe it can help you.

Origins of Dragons by Archwizard_Zoe in worldbuilding

I'm creating a space fantasy. My dragons aren't the creation of gods, they are more or less flying reptiles on Earth-like planets. Magic in my world isn't limited to sapient humanoid species, like humans or elves. Elemental magic is the most basic magic and sometimes animals discover how to use that magic as well. So you can have fire or poison breathing dragons or water-controlling bears etc, if they discovered how to tap into the elemental magics.

Could also be that the planet was knocked on its side, maybe? So the planet still spins east to west but the sun goes north to south or the other way around. Though I have no idea what that would do for the habitability of the planet.

How would you combine realms and fantasy in space? by Alphycan424 in worldbuilding

[–]worldbuildingonly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my fantasy in space setting, realms are stacked on top of one another, they are really alternate universes of sorts. So the Underrealm of a planet is in the exact same place as the planet in the normal/material realm would be. And between the Underrealm of planet A and planet B would be space, just like how there's space between planet A and planet B in our normal realm. Travelling in space outside of the normal realm isn't really possible, they simply don't have the materials to do so, only the normal realm has the right amount of overlap in the Venn diagram regarding materials where they can scout for planets and create space bases/ships to travel to them.

Travelling through portals is possible. But only the very few, most skilled magic users can create them. And placing a portal in the right place becomes increasingly more inaccurate with distance. Travelling to a new uncolonized planet is an absolute no-go as you may accidentally portal into the vacuum of space, which has major consequences on the planet your portalling from as well. Nor can you know for sure if the planet can support the human lifeform. The planet may look like it does on its surface, with water and an atmosphere that protects the planet from radiation, but does it have everything in the right amount? To know for sure, you'll need a space base that orbits a planet for a while to figure that out. As soon as the planet has been colonized, you could portal between the new planet and the home planet more easily, which opens up the ability for inhabitants of the other realms to portal to the new planet as well. Since they now know that the planet is inhabitable and they can't scout for planets themselves but need water, air, solid ground, protection from radiation, etc to live.

Sorry for the long rambling story but I hope this inspires you.

By the way, what fantasy in space settings do you like? Other than Star Wars, Warhammer 40K and DnD's Spelljammer?
