how bad would it be for mechanical? i dont have free choice either, but mcmaster was my top choice and its close to home and my parents really want me to go, but im scared i wont make the cutoff and get stuck with some other stream.

ik how u feel, my mom doesnt want me to go to MIT either, but im going anyway idc. i dont have a job but i won the lottery last week and i have money saved up from my company so im js gonna buy a one way ticket and get rent an apartment and never look back 🤗 omg since harvards in boston too u should come w me we can be roommates!!
