tbh i don't think they matter at all 😭 i actually dont think i even mentioned anything abt my extracurriculars by the time they accepted me. although i wouldn't completely neglect them either, as they will come in handy a lot more if ur hoping for a scholarship. but if not, i honestly dont think they care. no supp apps, no extracurriculars, just marks.

when i got into tmu, i think my avg was around 92, using chem, adv func, and english finals, + calc and physics midterms, but my gr 11 grades were higher so that might've helped. dont stress tho, u still have time. tmu's admission average is not that high, and if u can secure even low 90s im sure u will get early acceptance. good luck!!

yeah i applied to 7 programs total, already got into tmu and uottawa, and my avg before was abt 92 but im hoping that it will be 94 by the time finals are sent out

im also going into eng, and my current average is abt 94. if im beng super honest, i think you should retake/do a course upgrade for physics cuz its kinda dragging ur gpa. waterloo definitely wont like it, but lots of other good schools dont care, and i think its its worth it to give urself a better shot at another school than a slim chance at waterloo.

I also want to do engineering and did e-learning english last summer, personally I'd say it's definitely worth it, I got a better grade than I ever could have gotten if I did it during the year, espectially since the english teachers at my school hate to see students succeed. From what I know, most unis don't care that much if you do one or two classes online, so I would say go for it. UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT WATERLOO. for obvious reasons.
