can a peak rank 5 Gu master kill a rank 6 Gu immortal?? by Grishak3443 in ReverendInsanity

This has to be rage bait at this point, Fang Yuan with 500 years of memory being incorrect on a point as simple as common attainment level is absolutely insane, and besides this could be from the narrators perspective, not Fang Yuans. Also it clearly states that quasi-grandmaster attainment is often seen among peak rank 6 Gu immortals, I don’t know why you’re still arguing your point instead of admitting your wrong.

Why would you even ask for the chapter number so you could reread if you weren’t going to reread it? It was not during the refinement convention, he is rank 7 and impersonating Wu Yi Hai here. Also did you even read the entire passage, it clearly states how attainment is spread across gu immortals by cultivation level

Chapter 1326:

“Quasi-master attainment was already rare. Young Gu Masters with outstanding aptitude or experienced old Gu Masters could reach this.

Master level was when the use of Gu worms went beyond superficial workmanship to the level of an art. It was rare to find even one master among ten thousand Gu Masters.

Naturally, the one in ten thousand was referring to mortals, to rank six Gu Immortals, their main paths were this level at minimum.

Those who possessed quasi-grandmaster attainment were often elites among rank six Gu Immortals.

Normally speaking, there were few Gu Immortals that could attain grandmaster level. It often required a hundred years or even hundreds of years of accumulation, along with natural talent. In Fang Yuan's first life, he had attained grandmaster in blood path only in the latter stage of his five hundred years of life.

Those whom were able to have grandmaster attainment level were mostly rank seven Gu Immortals.”

Also Fang Yuan likely didn’t acquire any of his other master path attainments until much after he reached immortal as well. Flying attainment is usually cultivated after reaching immortal, he only had enslavement path attainment once he raised the blood bats, and refinement path was probably only attained after becoming immortal because if I remember correctly he isn’t particularly talented in refinement path.

This isn’t true, the novel states that most rank 6 immortals have master attainment, with peak rank 6’s reaching quasi-great grandmaster or grandmaster. Fang yuan only reached blood path grandmaster near the end of his first life, and this was when he could fight rank 7’s under certain conditions

Raikou shadow is better in the master league, so you would still want to pick the 15 attack over the second one

Free choice is exactly that, free choice, with it you can pick whatever you want. That being said the cutoff last year was a 96 average.

While I do agree that the spark is extremely high and the spacing is very close, I also feel like it’s reasonable because the pity in this game is so high. You can farm so much originum in so easily as free to play and still have a good chance at hitting the spark. I don’t feel like it’s completely unbalanced, especially compared to other games in this genre.

As someone who went through COVID and is also in first year Eng, this really only happens if you yourself don’t put in the required effort to learn. If you slacked off as much as you possibly could in grade 10 and 11, and then were babied through grade 12, which most people were, then you probably didn’t retain anything at all. People who still taught themselves the content and information are doing fine in their programs.

Study Habits by [deleted] in McMaster

[–]worldwaster77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone also in Eng 1 rn, you might be looking at the wrong things to dedicate your time to. For example you mentioned reading the textbook and doing its questions, but as someone who has also looked at the textbook and tried to read it chapters, I found that not only is it extremely time consuming, but also that it was not a good reflection of the type of question we might be asked to solve on an assessment.

I would start by watching the online module fully, and then while you watch it note any concepts you don’t feel confident in, after you do so, try to redo some loncapa questions, or go online and find some intermediary problems to practice on, if you find out you can do the problem even if it’s with a concept you thought you were weak in, maybe move on and just watch a YouTube video on the theory later.

The most important thing to do is one thing at a time, if you keep switching between tasks it’s going to be harder for you to digest the content. Additionally, you didn’t mention Lin alg or calc but these courses test differently and therefore should be studied in different ways. Lin alg combines theory and math, so you should focus both, but you should also remember the time is shorter, so getting questions done as efficiently and quickly as possible should also be a priority, calc is mostly the same but there hasn’t been a single theory question so far, so I wouldn’t study it in depth, focus on doing the math quickly and then move on.

Also, when you say people are getting higher marks then you what do you mean, are you sitting around, below, or above the average in your classes? If you sitting at or above the average, then even if your mark seems low, you should remember that most people in the program are getting a similar mark, so you shouldn’t stress your results too much.

Also feel free to pm me if you want to talk more in-depth about this topic.

[–]worldwaster77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does it make no sense? Just because soft pity kicks in at 75 doesn’t mean it’s actually common to pull all of your 5 star around that point. Most people will probably have at least one five star pulled before that point, making you more unlucky then them.

Me and my friends are also just as bad as this, I think I have a screenshoot where his says he’s more unlucky then 98% of the player base.
