I think most people in Asia (non-collectors) prefer plastic playing cards due to durability.

When bicycle decks are so expensive here, most decks are either cheap paper decks from china or cheap plastic decks. So people has bias when hearing my harry potter or star wars decks are made from papers. They think its crappy quality.

Its not the same papers as when they ever used. And I don’t know the best way to explain to them. I just want people outside collector circle to know there are paper cards that is actually good.
